IB Roof Systems has relied on Phillip David Since 2013 for his technical expertise and industry knowledge to help craft products that exceed industry standard. His professional and creative insight to understand and create technical specs and guidelines as well as testing and industry material approvals is solely due to his persistence to only produce products that are safe, effective and the best in the roofing industry.

Phillip David has been in the roofing industry for more than 42 years. He began his roofing career in 1978 with Flintkote/Genstar and held many technical positions including Technical Services Manager for both Flintkote/Genstar and GAF, and as Director of Technical at IB Roof Systems since 2013.
Phillip worked as a branch manager for ABC Supply at various locations and is a Registered Roof Consultant. He also served as a Senior Roof Consultant for Crenshaw Consulting Group prior to leading IB Technical. Mr. David holds an Economics degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. Phillip is affectionately referred to as “Dr. Phil”, and can be counted on to provide wise counsel and insightful contributions through his vast industry experience.
