IB Field Technical Representative

IB Roof Systems is excited to announce an opportunity to join our successful technical team. Due to significant growth, IB Roof Systems is adding regionally home based Field Technical Representative Positions. Outstanding service to our customers is our number one priority at IB Roof Systems and the Field Technical Representative is a key component of our service commitment.

Position Summary:

Candidates to be considered should have contractor based work experience with hands-on knowledge of industry and general construction practices in the installation of thermoplastic single ply roofing systems. Previous technical representation or roof inspection experience a plus but not required. The Field Technical Representative position involves frequent travel and customer interaction to conduct job starts, field customer support, IB warranty program and related project inspections, as well as working with the local IB sales representatives to conduct product demonstrations. Preferred candidates must be competent in preparation of field reports and use of MS Office / PDF / App-based documents and programs. Bilingual in English / Spanish is a plus. Job Description: SUMMARY The Sales Representative is responsible for supporting our sales and growth efforts in regional locations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES • Facilitate the sale and delivery of IB Roof Systems products • Educate and promote growth of roofing  (emphasis on commercial products). • Ability to train individuals or small groups with emphasis on general product knowledge, application techniques and best practices. • Develop and maintain close working relationships with the Regional Sales Manager, IB Territory Sales Managers, contractors and client leads • Implement IB product and set quality and service expectations to clients, provide feedback on market conditions, maintenance of clients and marketing materials provided • Perform other duties as assigned Experience • 2 to 3 years' experience in building materials industry (commercial roofing and/or coatings are a plus) • Combination of retail sales & customer service along with an interest in becoming a Territory Sales Manager desired • Highly motivated and have a strong desire for advancement in a roofing sales capacity At IB Roof Systems, we believe our employees are our greatest resource.
