Install a six-inch wide strip of IB Cover Strip centered over the butt joint or any seam that is insufficiently welded in accordance with IB specifications. Roll out the IB Cover Strip to the desired length and cut. Make sure to round the corners at each end. Position the IB Cover Strip centered over the seam. Weld the IB Cover Strip over the seam, forming a one-and-a-half-inch weld on all sides. Upon completing the installation, ensure all seams and laps are inspected and probed. If deficiencies are found, the area must be rewelded or repaired.
