Waterproofing a 39 story high rise building is not a task that many roofing companies want to tackle. Ace Roofing Systems, under the direction of Bob Cappy, set out to do just that.
The Union Bank of California required the removal of two existing roofs down to the metal substrate. Workers had to bring all the debris down three flights of stairs in tear off bags, then down a service elevator to be discarded into the dumpster. To complicate the situation even more, the service elevator was being utilized during business hours. This meant that all tear-off activity had to be conducted between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Everybody involved is extremely happy with the project and the bank's investment of IB Roof Systems products, which will protect them for at least 25 years.
Thebank chose AceRoofing Systemsbecause of their ability to complete projects professionally and with superb workmanship. The bank made a choice of IB membrane over other roofing systems because of the warranty and IB’s outstanding track record.
IB Roof Systems would like to thank AceRoofing Systems, and all of those who helped make this project a success.
