IB Roof Systems has had many influential people pass thru the doors, yet we can finger point a handful that have left an indelible mark on our business and culture. Meet Reid Ribble.
IB Roof Systems is proud to honor Reid Ribble for his dedication to both the roofing industry as well as IB Roof Systems. Reid's knowledge, passion and dedication to making IB Roof Systems a quality manufacturer and provider of the Industries best PVC membrane. Reid has been a key motivator in turning the roofing industry into a bonafide trade organization. A significant influence to IB and the development of IB principles and vision. IB is grateful for his friendship and legacy he leaves for generations to come.
For more than 30 years, Mr. Ribble was the president of his own roofing company in Kaukauna, Wis. As a contractor, he volunteered countless hours serving on numerous NRCA committees and NRCA's Board of Directors. He also served as NRCA president from 2005-06. In, 2010, he was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives for Wisconsin’s 8th District. He served 3 terms from 2011 – 2017. Since 2018,
Mr. Ribble has served as the NRCA CEO and has been working hard to create a career path for industry field workers, to elevate the roofing industry to be on par with other trade professions that currently offer national certifications, and address the workforce shortage by making the roofing industry more appealing. Through Ribble’s leadership, the NRCA has introduced NRCA ProCertifcation® which is an educational and assessment program aimed at certifying workers who have met all the requirements for each type of roof system installation allowing them to earn professional credentials.
